And, since others have mentioned that they can’t “knead” the dough due to arthritis issues, I wanted to confirm that these do not HAVE to be “kneaded”…just stirring them well, letting them sit for the prescribed few minutes and then scooping-them out onto parchment paper on a large cookie sheet is all you have to do! (One recipe makes 22 biscuits.)

Recently found this bread mix. Made 2 initially, and they didn’t seem to rise well, still tasted great, but just didn’t rise as expected. Call GF society, they contacted the Mfg. or distributor….& problem solved. If you want to make a sandwich loaf of bread, you Need to use a 7″x3″x3″ baking pan. I used a quality steel, non stick coated bread pan I got on, where else, Amazon. I rubbed some coconut oil on it just to make sure & it worked perfect. I baked at 400 deg. one hour in my Cuisinart toaster oven, lowest shelf, and it rose to 2″ below the IR heating elements, or about 3″ over the top of the pan. I covered the top of bread with parchment paper at 35 min. into the baking, to prevent burning the top of bread. In a regular oven, use middle rack. I added a big hand-full of hand chopped walnuts to the mix after all the ingredients were at the kneading stage. Yummy.
I’m going to experiment with the baking time, lowering it by 3 or 4 min. each batch to get the top just right. If you have a big enough toaster oven, try it out. Mine has auto everything and it just works great. Make sure to pre heat, and if you have convection settings, use convection because it evens out the temp. in the cooking space. No need to use a big gas oven to make this bread. Next is flatbread experiments…… 🙂

I was tired of the regular almond flour bread and it just wasn’t holding up well for many sandwiches so I tried Dr. Osbornes Warrior Bread. AMAZING! Holds up well even with thicker fillings, great taste easy peasy mixing, and baking. SMELLS terrific baking too! I have only used it as a bread and I use 6 whole eggs (but did try egg whites as it says to use but prefer whole eggs) and I shape it into a loaf size on a parchment paper-lined cookie sheet. I do bake it in 350 oven instead of the 400 it says and mine takes about 45-50 min to bake. My only frustration is that no matter what I do to prepare and bake it does fall quite a bit once its out of the oven and cooling. If anyone has any suggestions OR if this is a normal happening please let me know. DO NOT let my small frustration stop you from trying this delish bread! I do intend to try one of Dr. Osbornes other recipes for this mix soon.

I use healthy organic eggs from a friend’s happy chickens and so made it with the whole eggs since I don’t like to waste. It turned out delicious. I like that you use at least some organic ingredients.
In the future I will try it with some chopped hazelnuts and or fresh marjoram or grated vegan parmesan cheese. I had no problem kneading it although it does not need much kneading.
I do love the Simple Mills bread mix but it has tapioca starch in it that can be a cross reactor.
I wished the directions were more clearly arranged on the package like on the one brand mentioned above.

I have really missed bread since avoiding gluten. I never ate much, but sometimes I just want a healthy sandwich. I had this in the cupboard for a few months, and finally got it out. I love that it doesn’t crumble/break like some store bought brands do…rather destroying the eating of a sandwich!🤣. I appreciate knowing Dr. O keeps all ingredients clean. I made the loaf version, got impatient, took it out five minutes early. I think because of that the center stayed more dense than the rest. It slices easily, and stays good for a very long time ( I stored it in the fridge for at least a month in a paper bag, that was in a plastic bag. ) I found the taste could be pulled toward umami or sweet by whatever it was used with. The loaf size/shape doesn’t work for a salmon patty-type sandwich….I’ll have to experiment with the other shapes to see how those work. What’s nice about the loaf is that you can cut it as thin or thick as you like. I ordered 6 more. 😁👍
